  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, finely Chopped
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • 1 Tbsp Umé by FlavurLust and more for serving
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Large Bag Corn Tortilla Chips

  1. In a food processor, pulse the tortilla chips until resembles breadcrumbs or panko
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cheeses, herbs, lemon zest and Umé by FlavurLust to combine. Roll the mixture into balls slightly smaller than a pingpong ball
  3. Beat the eggs. Dip the balls into the flour and then into the egg mixture and lastly roll into the crushed up tortilla chips. Redip into the egg and roll one more time into the chips. Repeat with the rest of the balls
  4. Chill the cheese bites in the fridge for 15-30 minutes to let them firm back up
  5. Heat up a large pot of oil to 350F. Take the cheese bites and fry them in batches until golden brown and crisp, roughly 1 minute give or take
  6. Remove, drain off the oil, season with some salt and serve with more Umé by FlavurLust
