Grilled Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers
Ingredients
- 1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled, deveined, tail on
- ½ Pineapple, cut into chunks thickness of the shrimp
- ¼ Cup Cilantro, finely chopped
- ¼ Cup Parsley, finely chopped
- 1 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp Canola Oil
- 1 Garlic Clove, peeled
- 10-12 Wooden Skewers
Method
- Soak the wooden skewers in hot water for 10-15 minutes
- Marinate the shrimp and pineapple with Umé by FlavurLust and the herbs for at least 15 minutes
- In a pan over medium heat, add the oil and garlic clove. Once the garlic is fragrant add the panko breadcrumbs and toast until golden and crisp. Reserve
- Skewer alternating shrimp and pineapple on the skewers
- Grill over medium-high heat on your barbecue for 1-2 minutes a side for a total of 4-5 minutes depending on the thickness of your shrimp
- Brush with more Umé by FlavurLust as desired and sprinkle over with the toasted panko breadcrumbs
