Grilled Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers

    • 1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled, deveined, tail on
    • ½ Pineapple, cut into chunks thickness of the shrimp
    • ¼ Cup Cilantro, finely chopped
    • ¼ Cup Parsley, finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Umé by FlavurLust + more if desired
    • 1 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
    • 1 Tbsp Canola Oil
    • 1 Garlic Clove, peeled
    • 10-12 Wooden Skewers


    1. Soak the wooden skewers in hot water for 10-15 minutes
    2. Marinate the shrimp and pineapple with Umé by FlavurLust and the herbs for at least 15 minutes
    3. In a pan over medium heat, add the oil and garlic clove. Once the garlic is fragrant add the panko breadcrumbs and toast until golden and crisp. Reserve
    4. Skewer alternating shrimp and pineapple on the skewers
    5. Grill over medium-high heat on your barbecue for 1-2 minutes a side for a total of 4-5 minutes depending on the thickness of your shrimp
    6. Brush with more Umé by FlavurLust as desired and sprinkle over with the toasted panko breadcrumbs
